One Punch Man: Road To Hero - Episode 1 [BETTER]

One-Punch Man (Japanese: ワンパンマン, Hepburn: Wanpanman) is a Japanese superhero manga series created by One. It tells the story of Saitama, a superhero who, because he can defeat any opponent with a single punch, grows bored from a lack of challenge. One wrote the original webcomic manga version in early 2009.

One Punch Man: Road to Hero - Episode 1

On a supercontinent version of Earth that has four Moons, powerful monsters and supervillains wreak havoc. The millionaire Agoni creates the Hero Association, which employs superheroes to fight evil. Saitama, an unassociated hero, hails from City Z and performs heroic deeds as a hobby. For three years, he has trained enough to defeat any enemy with a single punch, his unmatched strength leaving him bored. He becomes a reluctant mentor to Genos, a cyborg seeking revenge against another cyborg who killed his family and destroyed his hometown, after Saitama defeats a monster that defeated Genos.

ONE began the original webcomic of One-Punch Man in 2009.[5][6] The Japanese shortened name Wanpanman is a play on the long-running children's character Anpanman,[7] wanpan being a contraction of wanpanchi ("one punch").[8] ONE became interested in creating a comic superhero who was already the strongest in the world.[6][9] He wanted to focus on different aspects of storytelling than those normally relied on in standard superhero stories, such as everyday problems. ONE said: "Punching is oftentimes pretty useless against life's problems. But inside One-Punch Man's universe, I made Saitama a sort of guy who was capable of adapting his life to the world that surrounded him, only armed with his immense power. The only obstacles he faces are mundane things, like running short of money."[9]

Due to his great power and being virtually indestructible, Saitama is an indifferent person. Even the mightiest foes pose no challenge to him, so he does not take his hero work seriously, goes through everything with little to no effort, and yearns for an opponent that can provide him with a challenge.[28] The lack of worthy opponents has led him to suffer from a self-imposed existential crisis,[7] and he claims that his ability to feel any emotions has dulled considerably.[29] The combination of his attitude, unstoppable power, and "unimpressive" appearance often causes his battles to become anticlimactic. Saitama will usually allow his opponents to rant about their motives and power up into their strongest forms, before obliterating them with a single punch.[30]

Beginning in 2009 as a webcomic by the artist known as ONE, One-Punch Man tells the story of Saitama, a superhero who grows bored over a lack of worthy opponents who are able to stand a fighting chance against him. As he has gotten used to defeating his rivals with a single punch, Saitama's search for a formidable enemy forms the basis of the story.

One Punch Man OVAs are worth watching! One Punch Man OVAs develop characters even more by following events that occur between episodes. It even has a special that chronicles how Saitama became that cape-wearing bald superhero we know and love (it really tells the story about how Saitama became this superhero). 041b061a72
